Dear Rasikas,
This week we have a new raga, 'Rasikapriya' in our New Raga segment.
Rasikapriya is the 72nd and the last of the melakartha ragas. Chalanaattai is the shuddha madhyama equivalent of Rasikapriya. Arul seyya vendum ayya of Koteeswara Iyer tuned in this raga, is a kriti often heard in concert platforms. Please do take time to listen to our uploads, we hope you will find them enjoyable.
